Japanese A6M2B Zero Type 21

Japanese A6M2B Zero Type 21 The Mitsubishi A6M Zero Fighter was the finest shipboard fighter in the world during the first year of the Pacific War. It was the first shipboard fighter capable of defeating its land-based opponents. Its world-wide fame was won in a series of astounding victories against all types of land-based and carrier-based Allied aircraft during the first six months after Pearl Harbor.

The A6M was given the code name "Zeke", but was generally called "Zero" by the Allied pilots.

This 1:72 scale die-cast Japanese A6M2B Zero Type 21 Fighter is part of the Witty Wings' Birds of Prey series. It is approximately 5 inches long with a wingspan of 6 inches.
