The B-24 Liberator was an American heavy bomber used in World War II. It is the most produced American military aircraft, with over 18,000 units produced.
The B-24 was equipped with ten M2 Browning machine guns in four turrets and two waist positions and could carry 8,000 pounds of bombs on short range missions or 5000 pounds of long range missions.
This die-cast B-24D Liberator shows 'The Goon' aircraft flown by the 308th Bomb Group during World War II.
This detailed die-cast 1:163 scale version of the U.S B-24D Liberator is part of Model Power's 'Postage Stamp Plane' series. The 1:163 scale diecast metal aircraft is approximately five inches long with an eight inch wingspan, and includes a black display stand.
