The F-15 Eagle is an all-weather, extremely maneuverable, tactical fighter designed to permit the Air Force to gain and maintain air supremacy over the battlefield. The Eagle's air superiority is achieved through a mixture of maneuverability, acceleration, range, weapons, and avionics.

The F-15's superior maneuverability and acceleration are achieved through high engine thrust-to-weight ratio and low wing loading. Low wing-loading (the ratio of aircraft weight to its wing area) is a vital factor in maneuverability. Combined with the Eagle's high thrust-to-weight ratio, this enables the F-15 to turn tightly without losing airspeed.

This detailed die-cast 1:150 scale version of the U.S. F-15C Eagle depicts the 'Captain America' F-15C Eagle flown by Seymour Johnson of the 4th Tactical Fighter Wing 'Rocketeers', and is part of Model Power's 'Postage Stamp Plane' series. The 1:150 scale diecast metal F-15C Eagle features a clear canopy, external fuel tanks, and authentic markings including Captain America nose art. It is approximately five inches long with a 3.5 inch wingspan, and includes a black display stand.
