1:72 Scale U.S. M10 'Duckbill' Tank Destroyer (Germany, 1945)

1:72 Scale U.S. M10 'Duckbill' Tank Destroyer (Germany, 1945) The U.S. M10 Tank Destroyer had an open-topped turret with a three inch gun. A .50 caliber Browning machine gun could be used against enemy infantry and aircraft. Later versions of the M10 featured a redesigned turret with a 'duckbill' counterweight at the rear to offset the weight of the M7 main gun.

During WWII, U.S. tank destroyer units were used to counter enemy tank breakthroughs. Featuring a heavy gun and light armor, tank destroyers were typically faster and more maneuverable than tanks.

This 1:72 scale die-cast U.S. M10 'Duckbill' Tank Destroyer depicts the 'Richelieu II' tank destroyer used by the U.S. Army as it was seen in Germany in 1945 during World War II.

This U.S. M10 'Duckbill' Tank Destroyer is part of Hobby Master's Ground Power series. The 1:72 scale die-cast metal vehicle is approximately 3.75 inches long, and has a rotating open-top metal turret with an elevating metal M7 gun, a detailed fighting compartment with 3 crew seats and ammo rounds, realistic suspension system and tracks, and authentic markings. It comes complete with a removable plastic display base with a clear protective cover.
