U.S. UH-1D Huey - Vietnam, 1968

The U.S. Army UH-1D helicopter saw extensive use during the Vietnam conflict. The 'D' version was larger than previous versions, and could hold eleven passengers plus four crew (two pilots and two door gunners), and the diameter of its rotor blades was 48 feet. It was used in a variety of roles including air assault, ground attack, medical evacuation, search and rescue, and cargo transport.

This die cast 1:48 scale version of the U.S. UH-1D Huey helicopter depicts the helicopter as it was seen in Vietnam in 1968.

This highly-detailed UH-1D Huey is approximately 11 inches long and has a rotor span of approximately 12 inches. The rotor blades can be rotated.
