Radio Controlled German Tiger I Tank

Radio Controlled German Tiger I Tank In the early 1930's, the German Army wanted to develop a heavy tank to reinforce their armored units. The Third Reich designed the Tiger tank, which was planned to be a "concentration point weapon" and would supplement existing armored regiments. Despite technical problems at the onset of deployment, and an unfavorable power-to-weight ratio, the Tiger I was the main and dominant heavy battle tank for the German Army until the end of the Third Reich.

This highly detailed 1:24 scale radio controlled version of the Tiger 1 is part of Forces of Valor's 1:24 scale Battle Beam series of radio controlled tanks. These tanks can 'fire' upon other tanks in the series via an infrared beam of light. The tanks feature realistic sounds and lights, and 'recoil' when they shoot, and tanks can take 'damage' and vibrate when hit by another tank, and can be 'stopped in their tracks' after enough hits are received. Each tank comes with a Battle Beam Target, which an be used to practice marksmanship (or as the target if you only have one tank).

This German Tiger I tank features digital proportional speed and control, with independent tank track movement and rotating turret and elevating main gun. It also features realistic tracks and independent wheel suspension. The tank is approximately 14 inches long.

The controller requires a 9v battery, the tank requires 6 AA alkaline batteries, and the target uses 2 AAA batteries. Note that batteries are not included with the tank.
