The USS Battleship Missouri is an Iowa class battleship. Commissioned in June of 1944, the Missouri (BB-63) fought in the Pacific Theater during World War II and was the site of Japan's surrender which ended World War II. The Missouri also fought in the Korean War and later provided fire support during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The Missouri is currently a museum ship at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The USS Missouri is 887 feet long, and displaces 45,000 tons. It has a top speed of approximately 38 miles per hour. It was equipped with nine 16 inch guns, twenty 5 inch guns, and over 120 anti-aircraft guns and cannons.
