The hard-fighting, all volunteer Australian Imperial Force (AIF) in 1943 was a staunch foe for the Japanese Army in and around New Guinea. After service in the Suez Canal region the AIF returned to the South Pacific Theater of Operations to defend their homeland. They participated in many infantry operations against the Japanese from early 1943 until the end of hostilities in 1945.
This 1:6 scale collectible figure is part of the Elite Force Series from Blue Box Toys. It is approximately 12 inches tall, and comes complete with detailed uniform and accessories, including weapons and gear.
