The P-47D Thunderbolt distinguished itself as one of the premier ground-attack fighters of World War II and also served as a Long-Range Escort Fighter, seeing action in both the Pacific and European Theaters during the latter stages of the war.
This 1:18 scale version of the P-47D Thunderbolt Bubbletop has the markings of the 'Snortin' Bull' airplane which was the fighter flown by Squadron Leader Jag Mullins of the 507th Fighter Squadron during World War II.
